Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and smooth day-to-day functioning of the office, managing staff, and delivering excellent patient service. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise front office staff, dental assistants, and hygienists Manage daily operations, including scheduling, billing, and patient flow Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements Oversee patient records and ensure proper documentation and confidentiality Handle insurance claims, verifications, and payment collections Hire, train, and evaluate office staff performance Maintain office inventory and order dental and office supplies Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff to improve workflow and patient satisfaction Resolve patient complaints and issues professionally Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred 2+ years of experience in dental office management or healthcare administration Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
