Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger transactions.
  • Bank Reconciliation:
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare timely financial statements and reports to assist management in decision-making.
  • Budget Management:
  • Assist in the creation and monitoring of budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
  • Tax Compliance:
  • Prepare and file necessary tax documents, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Address any financial discrepancies or issues promptly and effectively, providing solutions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Collaborate with management to track and manage inventory costs and supplies.
Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a candidate who possesses:

  • 10 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a retail or service industry environment.
  • Some Formal Accounting education, good knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Schedule:
