About the position:
Lumen’s People team is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager & Employee Experience to join our HR team and lead all aspects of office operations and employee-facing experiences.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a functional, well-managed, and welcoming office environment, while also supporting onboarding processes and driving initiatives that foster engagement, connection, and wellbeing across the organization. You’ll work closely with HR, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to help shape a workplace where people can thrive.
What you’ll be doing:
Own and manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and well-maintained work environment
Handle relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers
Lead the logistical side of onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure consistent and professional experiences for all employees
Plan and execute internal events, team-building activities, and wellness programs
Support company-wide employee experience initiatives in collaboration with the HR team
Maintain a strong connection to the company’s values, helping promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
Contribute to internal communication efforts, including organizing all-hands, celebrations, and announcements
Take part in cross-functional projects that support Lumen’s culture and employee engagement strategy
What we’re looking for:
2+ years of experience in office management, employee experience, or HR operations roles
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High level of fluency in English (written and spoken)
A proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and work independently
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment – a plus
