$17.00 – $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Must be dependable, puctual, and organized. We are seeking a highly organized and personable Office Administrator / Receptionist to join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office while also serving as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently with a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:

Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges

Administrative Duties:

Manage office supplies and inventory; place orders as needed Assist with scheduling meetings, coordinating appointments, and booking conference rooms Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and paper-based) Support various departments with administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and correspondence Assist with onboarding new employees (preparing workstations, collecting paperwork, etc.) Handle basic bookkeeping tasks or support finance with invoice processing (if applicable)

Qualifications:

Proven experience in an administrative or front desk role Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment Friendly and professional demeanor High school diploma or equivalent (additional qualifications preferred)

Preferred Skills:

Experience in customer service Familiarity with office management tools and basic bookkeeping software Ability to work independently and take initiative
