Administrative Office Manager Turn Bull Lumber Elizabethtown, NC 28337 Administrative Office Manager Turn Bull Lumber in Elizabethtown, NC has a unique and challenging position for someone who is a self-starter who enjoys day-to-day, hands-on, detail work with a background in accounting, process improvement, office, and business administration, as well as inventory reconciliation. Turn Bull Lumber is looking for an individual who thrives on improving functions and can pick processes apart but also see the big picture to create efficient, effective procedures. The position includes managing office staff, budgets, policies, and procedures so that the company and office run smoothly and efficiently. A critical aspect of this position is to ensure accurate communication and information (data) between accounting, lumber, log, and payroll systems and to maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements. A key responsibility is participation and oversight for monthly inventory reconciliation which must be timely and accurate. Process improvement is key – understanding the “what’s” and “why’s” of all functions and be responsible for creating SOP’s that focus on accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness. Will be responsible for all IT functions (outsourced) to ensure no downtime, all HR functions including onboarding and offboarding, file administration, and liaison with benefits broker. Given that there is only a small office of team mates, it will be critical to master and understand each office position to serve as back-up when necessary. Will oversee and administer all business insurance processes for audits, negotiating terms and administering leases and contracts for all operations. Will also oversee facilities management, maintenance, and supply management. Turn Bull Lumber is looking for a manager who has experience with small teams and understands and executes positive interactions to ensure the core values and culture are embraced. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, 8 to 10 years managing an operation in a small manufacturing company where inventory is critical to the success of the business. Must be an effective communicator, organized and efficient, able to multi-task, be able to manage complex details, an effective problem-solver and have strong communication skills.
