Are you passionate about the environment and want to make a difference? DEQ has an open opportunity for an Office Manager – Business Services Coordinator II.

It is full-time (40 hours per week) with State Benefits. This position, within the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), is located at the Asheville Regional Office, 2090 US To Highway, Swannanoa, NC 28778. DEACS unit managed by this position ensures essential core functions and support to the programs located at this regional office.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing a positive customer service interaction, processing critical and time-sensitive correspondence, processing fiscal documents for programs, and compiling reports for program staff and their respective management.
Manage the fiscal budgeting, procurement management and processing, fixed asset inventory control, and facility management.
Supervision of an administrative support staff in the areas of onboarding, coaching counseling, performance evaluations and discipline.
Partnering with Human Resources in the recruitment of vacancies and addressing employee relations issues.
