Summary of Job Duties:
The Front Office Manager will manage the front office environment and will hire, supervise, train and evaluate the front office staff. The Front Office Manager will also oversee the sending of Accommodation Letters, the in-processing of applications for service and the scheduling of appointments, ordering of office supplies and catering, and the scheduling of meeting rooms. The Front Office Manager will supervise departmental financial transactions and actions, and maintain electronic records and databases related to departmental programs as well as review and route departmental emails to the appropriate party. This position requires that records, requests, and communication be kept confidential, and that data be compiled as requested.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as are critical thinking skills and the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a major in sociology, public administration, management, or a related field At least two years of experience in program administration or a related area Applicable equivalencies may be considered for the above qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two or more years of supervisory experience Two or more years of customer service experience Two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs):
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
Skill and ability to operate standard office equipment such as PC, fax, copier, printers and multi-line phone
