Summary of Job Duties:

The ISS Office Manager provides logistic and administrative support to the programs of the office of International Students and Scholars (ISS), provides quality guest services, and ensures coordination in external and internal communication initiatives.
This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
At least one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field
At least four years of experience in a specialized or a related field applicable to work performed

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with customer service such as answering phones, greeting office guests, arranging appointments, and maintaining a well organized office space
Experience with PC and Microsoft products, with specific skills in Teams, Excel, and Word
Experience managing workflow processes
Experience with social media and communication plans
Experience working with a diverse population

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of office phone and email etiquette
Skills in editing weekly announcements and submissions to blog posts
Skill to manage listserv, email, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts
Ability to complete tasks within an active office environment
Ability to maintain a welcoming environment in a busy office
Ability to pay attention to details and the accuracy of product
