The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and have experience managing financial records. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient office procedures, supporting staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Duties Manage daily office operations, including administrative tasks and staff coordination. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Perform account reconciliation, including balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries. Utilize accounting software such as Quicken or Xero for financial record keeping and reporting. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed. Maintain accurate records of debits and credits, ensuring all transactions are properly documented. Support public accounting functions by collaborating with external auditors during audits. Train and supervise junior clerks or administrative staff, providing guidance on office procedures. Implement office policies and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role. Strong understanding of accounting principles, including account reconciliation, debits, credits, and balance sheet management. Proficiency in accounting software such as Quicken or Xero is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy in work. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and clients. Experience in public accounting is a plus but not required. Familiarity with journal entries and general bookkeeping practices is essential.
