Summit Waste Services is searching for an experienced Service Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for the execution of ensuring all jobs are dispatched daily to their respective destinations. This position is one that is built for the multi-tasker, highly detail-oriented candidate who enjoys a fast-paced environment. They will be the first point of contact for our customer base and must have strong communication skills both in person and over the phone. Our ideal candidate will be outgoing, dynamic, with the ability to resolve issues or concerns in a way that preserves the company’s reputation and ensures customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate, schedule and communicate information to crew and field personnel, organizing and tracking relevant information according to customer demands. Keep proper records of all jobs in a work log according to the established guidelines. Answer incoming phone calls and/or inquiries, maintaining and providing positive and effective service to both internal and external customers. Arrange shipping and delivery to ensure orders are properly handled o Prepare and process orders and maintain all necessary supplies o Perform other related duties as assigned Job Requirements. Demonstrate clear communication skills including ability to read, write and speak English, and to promptly follow verbal and written directions in English along with the ability to establish and maintain effective rapport with all employees at different levels both in the office and in the field. Must be able to work closely with others and under time-sensitive deadlines including potential emergency response situations. Demonstrate the ability to work well with others and work independently when required o High level of energy needed for a fast-paced environment where multiple initiatives are happening simultaneously. Attend various community events. Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings such as community service hosted by SWS Respect and maintain confidentiality of the office, its records and restricted information.

Traits and Education Requirements:

Associates degree preferred 2 years minimum previous dispatch experience in Waste field Must be able to communicate effectively with all types Organizational skills are a must Be able to handle a fast-paced environment
