This full-time position operates from 9am-5pm. Reporting directly to the Administrator, you will ensure that proper administrative procedures are maintained in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an administrative supervisory role in a healthcare setting.
  • Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles .
  • Experience in collections and healthcare billing in skilled nursing or long-term care.
  • Experience with Medicaid billing .
  • Experience with Medicare A, Medicare B, and Insurance billing .
  • Experience with MDS coding .
  • Working understanding of New Hampshire Medicaid eligibility rules .
  • Knowledge of New Hampshire Medicaid , including Case Mix Index scoring .
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak , and understand the English language.
  • Proficiency with office equipment, including computers, data entry, and word processing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies.
  • Must be able to work independently .
Job Responsibilities:
    Administrative Functions:

    Oversee business office operations, including policies, procedures, and coordination with other departments.

      Accounting Functions:

      Plan, organize, and direct accounting functions, including financial records, monthly statements, and invoice management.

        Personnel Functions:

        Assist with office staffing needs, employee performance evaluations, and training of administrative personnel.

          Staff Development:

          Attend workshops and seminars to stay updated on long-term care regulations and maintain professional status.
