Alloy Silverstein Accountants and Advisors is seeking a dependable, proactive, and detail-driven Office Manager to lead administrative operations at our Cherry Hill headquarters and provide support to our Southern New Jersey team. In this essential role, you’ll not only ensure the day-to-day flow of the office but also supervise a team of administrative professionals and contribute to a seamless experience for both staff and clients—especially during tax season. About the Office Manager Role As Office Manager at The Alloy Silverstein Group, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our two-office firm. You’ll be responsible for keeping processes efficient, managing a small administrative support team, and collaborating closely with our accounting and advisory departments. This position offers the opportunity to lead with initiative, improve systems, and support a firm with decades of client trust. During tax season and other peak periods, overtime (late evenings and Saturdays) may be required to meet critical deadlines and maintain firm-wide productivity. Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate day-to-day office operations and administrative procedures
Supervise and schedule a team of administrative assistants, providing support, training, and performance oversight
Ensure the office environment is fully functional—manage supplies, vendor relationships, office equipment, and service requests
Maintain and implement office policies, streamlining systems where appropriate
Coordinate firm calendars, meeting logistics, and room scheduling
Process daily client payments and deposits, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end reporting
Partner with accounting staff to assist with client onboarding, billing processes, and workflow tracking
Handle internal HR administrative functions such as onboarding paperwork, benefits coordination, and workstation setup for new hires
Support firm-wide communications and internal event coordination when needed
What You Bring to the Role
Proven experience in office management or administrative leadership
Previous experience in a CPA firm, financial services, or other professional services setting (preferred)
Strong leadership and delegation skills, with the ability to guide a small team and foster collaboration
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with accounting software or workflow systems a plus
Discretion and integrity when handling confidential employee and client information
Flexibility and a positive attitude, especially during peak tax season
Smooth Transition Plan You will benefit from a structured transition period working alongside our current Office Manager. This handoff is designed to ensure full training, process understanding, and a seamless transfer of responsibilities. Why Join Alloy Silverstein?
