The ideal candidate is a positive, self-initiated, problem solver, who is compassionate, organized, focused and flexible. The applicant communicates consistently with others and works well under pressure, enjoys multitasking, and thrives in a collaborative environment. The successful applicant practices thoughtful and impactful leadership and is responsive to the direction of the educational experts of the school. Since this position interacts with the entire school community, the role requires strong communication skills, a passion for education, and the ability to relate to and carry out the school’s mission. Additionally, the candidate should be highly proficient with a variety of software including Microsoft Office. Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Detailed Data Entry
  • Reading typist is preferred
  • Prepare detailed documents for a variety of uses
  • Prepare emails, schedules, calendars
  • Consistently maintain and organize student school and clinic records
  • Facilitate the distribution of communications
  • Assist, directly support, and interact with teachers, students, and administration
  • Support and service the needs and requests of school families
  • Answering and directing diverse phone inquiries
  • Special events preparation
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of successful experience in an administrative/office management role
  • Experience working as an administrator/manager in a school or physician’s office is ideal
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills and organizational ability
  • Excellent, verbal and written language
  • Mastery and fluency Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Mac technologies
  • Collaborative, collegial, and flexible
