Job Description
An Am Law 100 law firm seeks an experienced Office Manager to oversee daily operations of the North Jersey office, ensure the effective implementation of firm policies and procedures, and maintain accuracy and compliance of billing processes for a large firm client. This position is on site 5 days/week in Florham Park. Position requires 5+ years of law firm management experience as well as law firm billing experience (including experience with Aderant software). Compensation includes base salary of $100,000-140,000 + bonus + excellent benefits.

BachelorsResponsibilities Supervision of non-attorney personnel including paralegals, legal assistants, receptionist, clerks and other staff: allocating work, scheduling temporary coverage in accordance with office policies, assisting in attorney review of legal assistants and paralegals, reviewing of other staff, periodic staff meetings, complaint resolution, determining staffing needs and timely maintenance of time and attendance records. For one of the Firm s Fortune 10 clients–ensure the accuracy and compliance of attorney billing (both hourly and flat fee) including reviewing billing entries for proper task codes and compliance with client billing guidelines, analyzing billing data and reports to identify trends, errors or inconsistencies and collaborating with attorneys and billing staff to resolve billing issues or discrepancies and recommend process improvements to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency.
