Office Manager/Retail Hoadley Wholesale Nursery 5603 E Lake Rd, Auburn, NY 13021 Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of office management practices. This role is crucial in supporting our team and enhancing productivity through effective administrative support. Duties Manage front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors and clients. Oversee calendar management, scheduling appointments. Maintain accurate filing systems, ensuring that all documents are organized and easily accessible. Handle human resources functions, including onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records. Utilize QuickBooks for tracking expenses, managing budgets, and generating financial reports. Implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity. Provide exceptional phone etiquette when communicating with clients, vendors, and team members. Experience The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in office management. Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and other relevant software applications. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
