Office and Equipment Manager 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars 1690 State Highway 8, Mount Upton, NY 13809 Office & Equipment Manager We are seeking a detailed orientated Office Manager with bookkeeping experience to join our team. The ideal candidate would be responsible for managing the day-to-day office activities, support both Accounting and Operations in maintaining contracts, permits, and key deliverables.
Duties and responsibilities included:
General office duties include answering phones, mail, scanning, plan company functions etc. Assist with building and grounds maintenance Remote bank deposits Process insurance claims Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Maintain digital and physical filing systems for Equipment tracking•customer contract originations, vehicle titles, registrations, inspections, insurance and permits DOT Compliance OSHA/Safety•scheduling training for staff Subcontractor insurance date input Manage and ensure timely and accurately filing of New York State Highway Use Tax (HUT) Purchase orders and purchasing for office supplies Snow plowing billing Company cell phone management Printer management
Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office•Outlook, Word and Excel Must have good written and verbal communication skills Trucking and construction industry experience a plus General knowledge of accountants payable and accounts receivable Must be highly organized, detailed orientated, accurate and self-check work Able to work independently with some oversite, and in a team environment Must follow established procedures while multitasking in a fast-paced environment Salary is $50•60k (DOE)
