Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Business Office Assistant to join our team at our Assisted Living Facility. This part-time position supports the day-to-day operations of the business office, with a focus on resident financial services, clerical support, and coordination with the Business Office Director and Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the in-house banking window for residents during weekday banking hours (10:00 AM

• 2:00 PM) Assist residents with their Personal Incidental Allowance (PIA) accounts Post PIA bills and petty cash transactions; prepare and run weekly checks Review, prepare, and mail monthly and quarterly financial statements to responsible parties Provide general administrative support to the Business Office Director and Administrator Maintain accurate financial and administrative records in accordance with facility policies and state regulations

Qualifications:

Prior experience handling money or performing financial transactions is preferred Experience working in an assisted living or healthcare setting is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to interact professionally and compassionately with elderly residents Proficiency with basic computer and office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality
