This position is a (PART-TIME) Position which can potentially turn into full-time. The position is roughly 24 hours a week. POSITION SUMMARY
The Office Administrator/ HR Generalist must be proactive and detail-oriented to manage day-to-day office operations and support HR functions. This position will ensure efficient administrative operations while also supporting HR responsibilities including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. This role is responsible for coordinating and assisting the management team members including the President, VP of Sales, VP of Operations, VP of Finance, Human Resource Manager, Quality / EHS Manager, etc.. Daily tasks will vary depending on team members’ needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES
1. Preparation of travel plans; domestic and international, prior experience preferred 2. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence 3. Organization of meetings and meals 4. Oversee the smooth operation of the office, including supplies management, vendor coordination, and facilities support. Assist human resource function, as needed 5. Coordination of marketing material and distribution 6. Provide administrative support to team members
Human Resources Support:
- Assist in the recruitment process: post job ads, screen resumes, coordinate interviews.
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation sessions.
- Support benefits administration and answer employee questions about policies and procedures.
- Assist with performance review coordination and training logistics.
- Help ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and workplace culture efforts
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
1. Proven experience as an office administrator, HR generalist, or similar role. 2. Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures. 3. Understanding of HR principles, labor laws, and confidentiality requirements. 4. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems. 5. Strong organizational and time management skills. 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 7. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
