• Friday Wehave an exciting growth opportunity for an RN Nurse Supervisor tojoin our Allergy, Asthma & Immunology outpatient office!

The NurseSupervisor provides day-to-day management of clinical operationswithin the department. Responsible for staff supervision, clinicworkflow, patient triage, and clinical quality initiatives. Worksclosely with the other Managers, Administrator and the DivisionChief to establish and maintain an efficient, cohesive andproductive work team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude:

• Responsible for patient flow through clinic and allpoint-of-care testing
• Supervises clinical staff and providessupport when needed
• Maintains highest level of professionalismand positively leads by example.
• Reviews processes and proceduresto ensure optimal clinic workflow and capturing of charges.
• Develops and motivates staff to work effectively and within theirlicensure.
• Fosters a strong, collaborative relationship with thePractice Coordinator.
• Attends Sr. Manager meetings and works withfellow managers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, elevating whennecessary.
• Protects confidentiality of all patient andstaff-related concerns.
• Oversees supply and medication orderingin a cost-conscious manner.
• Responsible for Joint Commissioncompliance and weekly tracer submission.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Nursing is required, BSN is preferred
• NYSRegistered Nurse Licensure is required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience is required, preferablyin a charge or supervisory role Thank you for your interest inAlbany Medical Center!
