Office Manager 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 14 Cold Spring Road, Syosset, NY 11791 Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager with a musical background to oversee the daily operations of iSchool of Music & Art, Syosset. Local to Long Island is a must. Mandarin- speaking is a plus. Candidates should preferably have a background in music. Candidates need superior interpersonal skills, a positive personality, good phone etiquette and have experience interfacing with customers. Candidates need to able to handle scheduling, process payments, and speak confidently with customers about our instructors and program. Duties Answer phones, interface and schedule clients Process payments via Square Record finances in QuickBooks Payroll Attendance to concerts and events put on by iSchool outside of normal operating hours • Qualifications Proven experience in an office management or administrative role Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Mandarin-speaking a plus. Experience with event planning and calendar management Ability to supervise staff and a an organized schedule Familiarity with human resources processes is a plus Experience with NYSSMA and other New York based music programs is a plus If you are a motivated individual with a passion for organization and leadership, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as an Office Manager.
