DESCRIPTION
An Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily office operations, ensuring efficiency, and providing administrative support to employees and customers. They manage office supplies, schedule meetings, and maintain a well-functioning office environment. They may also supervise clerical staff, coordinate with other departments, and handle various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has one to two years of experience in a similar role and/or a two-year degree in Business Administration, experience with Microsoft Office including a working knowledge of Excel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes tasks independently in a quick turn environment Follows and understands quality guidelines Interprets a variety of instructions provided in written or verbal form Effectively manages production schedule and production materials Maintains strong attention to detail when proofing all materials. Valid drivers license preferred. Managing office supplies and equipment Overseeing day-to-day office activities Ensuring adherence to company policies Maintaining filing systems and records Handling customer inquiries Providing general support to employees and visitors Managing office layout and ensuring a comfortable workspace
TYPICAL SCHEDULE
Monday – Friday Availability for early morning or weekend check ins during peak seasons.
QUALIFICATIONS
Up to 2 years of experience or a two-year degree in Business Administration or a related field Experience working in food industry or related field Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software (2 years preferred) Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Able to work and complete tasks independently in a quick turn environment Able to follow and understand quality guidelines Good communication and people skills Experience with facilities management and vendor relations Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math Prompt, reliable, and responsible Able to lift 40+ pounds Bilingual Preferred, not necessary
COMPENSATION
$22 – 25 / Hr.; Compensation based on experience
