Office Manager Hilton Head Presbyterian Church 233 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926 Office Manager Position Overview and Key Results The vision of Hilton Head Presbyterian Church is to see lives transformed by the power of the gospel, for glory of God and the good of the Lowcountry. To that end, our mission is to multiply the worship, renewal, and community of Jesus to the people and places of the Lowcountry and through it, the world. The Office Manager plays a vital role in accomplishing this vision and mission by overseeing an environment that facilitates planning and collaboration for transformational ministry. This back-end support empowers ministry leaders to plan, lead, and shepherd. It creates a space where members, visitors, and the needy can be ministered to, and it also contributes to an office culture of efficiency, warmth, communication, and initiative.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Office Support
- Manage church correspondence, emails, and phone and in-person inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
- Oversee daily office efficiency, cleanliness, organization, and supplies inventory
- Maintain church records, databases, and digital and physical filing systems.
- Manage office equipment, including procurement, maintenance, and disposal.
- Provide onboarding and offboarding support.
- Assist staff members with printing, mailing, and compiling documents and materials.

Facilities Support:
- Coordinate church calendars, schedule meetings, and reserve facilities.
- Liaise with maintenance and repair vendors regarding facilities issues.
- Assistance in set-up and clean-up of ministry events and programs.
3.
Ministry Support:
- Assist in preparation for Sunday mornings.
- Serve as a point of contact between church leadership, ministries, and the congregation. 4. Financial Support
- Expense reporting.
- Performing the weekly tithes deposit.
- Maintaining donor records.

- Understanding of office management, equipment, best practices, and supply management.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and church management software.
- Willing to initiate and embrace the use of new technologies.

- Proven experience as an office manager, administrative assistant, or another relevant role.
