Are you an Amazing Customer Service Leader, who wants to grow with one of the oldest family owned furniture retailers as we continue to expand? Then we want to hear from you! Office Managers are the liaison between Kimbrell’s Furniture and our valued customers. Employees in these roles are responsible for communicating directly with customers. This role requires a high level of professionalism, customer service, persuasion, and negotiation skills, as well as a mind for problem-solving to work with customers to resolve their debts and collect payment. A high level of attention to detail, confidentiality and excellent record keeping ensure that payment plans are recorded and followed as agreed. Bilingual is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Interact with customers diligently, courteously and professionally while collecting payments. Must have good knowledge of cash management procedures and best practices. Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly. Follow set strategies for collection procedures. Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts. Ability to gather and verify customer’s personal and credit information. Retain customer loyalty while initiating processes for collection of payments. Maintain and update record of customers from whom collections are made.
Requirements:
Proven experience or similar role. Cooperation and ability to work in a team setting is a vital skill required for this position. Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques. Working knowledge of MS Office and databases. Patience and ability to manage stressful work situations. Excellent communication skills (written and oral). Problem-solving skills. High school diploma is required. Collection and Sales experience a plus.
