Office Manager/Bookkeeper Melvin’s Barbeque 612 Johnnie Dodds Blvd, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a background in various administrative functions. This role is crucial for ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting both staff and clients alike. Duties Manage daily office operations, including clerical tasks and administrative support. Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial efficiency across all departments. Utilize QuickBooks for financial reporting and bookkeeping tasks. Maintain phone systems to ensure effective communication within the office. Coordinate vendor management, including negotiating contracts and maintaining relationships with suppliers. Supervise medical office management tasks, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Oversee front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service to clients and visitors. Plan and organize company events, enhancing team engagement and company culture. Qualifications Proven experience in an office management role or similar position. Strong knowledge of human resources practices and procedures. Proficiency in clerical duties with excellent organizational skills. Experience with budgeting and financial management. Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience in medical office management is a plus but not required. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
