POSITION SUMMARY

  • The Office Manager is an integral part to the daily operations of each division, managing all aspects of the office to assure staff and customers’ needs are met. This position is multi-dimensional, providing the needed oversight of office duties, HR coordination and management support.

ESSENTIAL

DUTIES and

RESPONSIBILITIES

_

  • Responsible for general operations of the office.
  • Coordinates appointments, meetings and manages staff calendars and schedules.
  • Maintains a Positive attitude and manages stress to ensure an efficient work environment.
  • Produces all necessary office reports and correspondences.
  • Processes paperwork for newly-hired employees.
  • Oversees background checks for new hires, pre-employment, post-accident, and random drug testing.
  • Obtains information and accurately reports all accidents or injuries as required.
  • Responsible for maintaining OSHA logs and reports for the facility.
  • Creates presentations and other management level reports as needed.
  • Ensure that license and insurance are current for all company vehicles.
  • Accounting duties such as accounts payable, accounts receivables, and cash registers.
  • Coordinates and reports monthly safety meetings.
  • Adheres to all safety rules and regulations
  • Keeps office area neat, clean, and uncluttered.
  • Ensures that office supplies needed by all departments are available as needed.
  • Coordinates any events or functions that take place at the facility.
  • Assist other employees with issues such as benefits enrollment and FMLA request
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • _EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
  • 1-4 Years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License Required

  • Effective Communicator with all levels of daily business contacts
  • Proven experience as an office manager or administrative assistant.
  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
  • Proficiency in MS office.
  • Hands on experience with office equipment.
  • Excellent time management skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Attention to details and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
