Full Job Description Description:

The Business Coach’s primary responsibility is to provide high-quality coaching to preschool and childcare business owners by analyzing situations and educating clients with regard to enrollment, billing and collections, and expenses.

Requirements:

Business Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Education or related field. Extensive knowledge of business practices and methodologies, preferably gained from owning or acting as a high-level executive of a successful preschool or childcare center. Comfortable with technology and have the ability to adopt the use of software and databases Strong analytical and strategic skills Excellent communication skills Good team player and great leadership skills Essential Job Functions Responsible for managing a caseload of 20-30 small businesses. Provide direct one-on-one coaching and technical assistance to clients, which includes: Identify, develop, plan and prioritize clear business goals, especially around the Iron Triangle. Provide resources, information, and technical assistance on any matters that advance the goals, or prohibit the center from achieving its goals of: Increasing enrollment in centers to at least 85% of capacity. Increasing billing and collections to at least 97% of possible revenue. Analyzing expenses and helping the center set pricing that covers a full cost budget plus profit. Assist with the implementation of, and training on the Child Care Management System Monitor the client’s commitments and progress made via regular meetings. Assisting businesses in the creation of business plans, marketing plans, financial plans, recordkeeping systems, and other tools necessary for the business to achieve its goals. Serve as a role model by demonstrating professionalism at all times. Represent the mission of Porter-Leath and uphold all policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger/handle/feel. Occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required:

close and color vision. Work in a non-smoking environment. Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities. Special Conditions Maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record with an appropriate level of insurance. Ability to travel from administrative headquarters to all sites on a regular basis.
