Responsible for the day to day operations of the hospital-owned/managed physician practice(s). Manages
multiple locations or a large practices serving more than 7 providers.
Reports to: Market Practice Manager
FLSA:
Exempt
Works in conjunction with the Market Practice Manager to plan, organize and manage day to day operations
of the physician practice office(s).
Assists Market Practice Manager with staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction,
and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, and student
engagements.
Assists Market Practice Manager in monitoring departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental
contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases,
monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
Performs Staff position duties as needed.
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED or Graduate of certificate or degree program•Required
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)•Required within 90
days of hire, if not current upon hire.
Minimum Work Experience:
Two (2) years medical office experience•Required. One (1) year management/supervisory experience•
