Job Description

Office 365 Administrator City Enterprises Llc 5000 Meridian Blvd, Franklin, TN 37067 Position Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Office 365 Administrator with 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and supporting Microsoft 365 environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft cloud services, including Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of both internal and client-facing Office 365 infrastructures. You will also serve as a senior technical resource, leading projects, coordinating IT staff, and providing strategic guidance to client stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Azure Active Directory Manage user access, licenses, permissions, and security configurations across multiple M365 tenants Monitor health and performance using Microsoft 365 Admin Center and PowerShell Implement and enforce security policies including MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, and compliance frameworks Provide Tier 2/3 support for Microsoft 365 issues and service requests Lead or support M365 migrations, deployments, upgrades, and tenant-to-tenant integrations Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API Collaborate with IT leadership on governance, policy creation, and long-term roadmap planning Stay informed on Microsoft roadmap changes and drive feature adoption Develop user training programs and maintain documentation Lead the research, evaluation, and deployment of new productivity and collaboration tools Direct IT projects and coordinate cross-functional IT operations Mentor junior team members and provide senior-level technical leadership Manage client support services and ensure delivery excellence Act as a liaison between end users, vendors, and internal teams Engage regularly with client stakeholders and executive leadership Deliver on-site and remote support for client initiatives Perform routine maintenance and support in hybrid and cloud-based Microsoft environments Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of IT experience with at least 2 years focused on Office 365 administration Proven experience managing Microsoft 365 core services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, etc.) Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory and cloud identity management Experience in planning and executing email and M365 migrations Background in IT support or team leadership roles Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment High level of self-motivation, energy, and attention to detail Ability to travel regionally (expenses paid) and participate in an on-call rotation Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical client stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Experience in a managed services or client-facing support environment Familiarity with hybrid Microsoft environments and directory sync Previous exposure to IT project planning and coordination across teams Certifications (Required or Preferred) Microsoft 365
