Job Description
Office / Tech Support Assistant Lylac Inc 321 Richard Avenue, Hicksville, NY 11801 Our rapidly growing business services company is seeking a tech-savvy Office/Tech Support Assistant to help optimize our operations and support our expanding customer base. Supporting New York’s largest lien processing company, we need someone who can bridge the gap between traditional business operations and modern technology solutions. This role is primarily remote with initial and occasional in-person training requirements.
Core Responsibilities Operations & Customer Support:
Understand and support daily operational requirements for high-volume lien processing Provide exceptional (phone and email based) customer service to auto repair shops, collision centers, tow operators, and parking facilities Manage email communications and respond to customer inquiries with technical accuracy Answer and screen inbound calls, providing knowledgeable support for our service offerings Assist customers with our web portal and digital systems adoption
Data Management & Analysis:
Perform detailed data entry with exceptional accuracy for order processing and customer records Process and analyze data using Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data visualization Work proficiently with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive) for collaborative projects and reporting Generate reports and insights from customer data to support business growth initiatives Maintain data integrity across multiple systems and platforms
Technical Problem-Solving:
Troubleshoot basic technical issues for customers and customer reps transitioning from paper-based to digital processes Assist with customer portal support and help users navigate our technology systems Use modern computing tools to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency Support digital transformation initiatives by helping customers adopt new technologies Collaborate on marketing material creation using various software platforms
Required Qualifications Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong expertise in Google Workspace applications (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail) Demonstrated ability to analyze data, create reports, and identify trends Experience with database concepts and data management best practices Comfortable learning new software systems and troubleshooting technical issues Basic understanding of web-based applications and customer portals

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data processing Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities using technology solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven customer service experience. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Experience:
