Mail Carrier Velox Enterprise Epes, AL 35460 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mail Carrier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery and pick-up of mail, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered to the correct locations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service. The Mail Carrier will operate a full-size vehicle and may be required to lift up to 50pds as part of their daily duties. Responsibilities Safely drive assigned vehicle, to transport mail and packages between locations. Load and unload mail and packages efficiently. Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups, maintaining records of all transactions. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Handle lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Collaborate with supervisor to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience in route driving or courier services is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds). Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing delivery schedules. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on delivery needs.
