Pay :

$17.20including a $4.57 Health and Wellness hourly stipend. PTO and SickTime offered.

General Responsibilities:

Participates in the dailyprocessing of first-class mail, standard mail, and packages fromUSPS, FedEx, and UPS.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Sort and conduct initial security screening of incoming mail.

Provide daily mail delivery to established locations on baseaccording to schedule. Maintain tracking logs to assist inmonitoring the base’s accountable mail. Help organizations prepareand mail official outgoing mail, including applying postage.

Provide customers with their mail, assist in properpackaging/labeling and answer questions at the customer servicewindow. Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitationimmediately to supervisor or department head Adhere to the federalcontract (and all attachments/appendixes) applicable to mail roomOperations Sign out packages to dormitory residents at customerwindow. Follow all rules and regulations in accordance with AFB.Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Possesses a high degree of honesty and be trustworthy. Ability towork well with others and support the team efforts. Ability toserve customers with a professional and polite attitude. Mustpresent themselves daily in a professional manner and appearance.

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Highschool diploma/GED Never convicted of crimes involving theft. Neverremoved for cause from work in a postal, mail, or othercommunications activity. Must have a valid Secret SecurityClearance to handle official mail, or a favorable Entrance NationalAgency Check (ENTNAC) or National Agency Check (NAC) on file forPSC mail.
