Duties:
  • Deliver mail and packages to rural areas along assigned routes
  • Operate a vehicle to transport mail and packages
  • Load and unload mail and packages using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment as necessary
  • Sort and organize mail and packages for efficient delivery
  • Follow safety protocols while operating vehicles and handling mail and packages
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
  • Experience driving tractor-trailers is preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload mail and packages
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of mail and packages
  • Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills to interact with customers Please note that this position may require working in various weather conditions.
