This position requires a dedicated individual who is capable of managing various tasks associated with mail delivery while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving designated routes, handling heavy lifting, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism in all interactions. Duties Deliver mail and packages along assigned rural routes in a timely manner. Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations. Perform heavy lifting and moving of parcels, ensuring proper loading and unloading techniques are used. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks for transporting goods when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any discrepancies encountered during the route. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to deliveries. Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including sorting and organizing mail. Experience Previous experience in courier services or warehouse operations is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and commercial driving practices is advantageous. Strong customer service skills are essential for effectively communicating with clients and addressing their needs. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands associated with the role.
