This role is essential in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages to rural areas. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in commercial driving, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Operate a box truck or van to deliver mail and packages to designated rural routes. Load and unload items using a pallet jack or manual handling techniques. Ensure accurate delivery of mail by following established routes and schedules. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from customers. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the delivery vehicle. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Assist with moving packages in a warehouse setting as needed. Utilize manual transmission vehicles when required for deliveries. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred. Experience operating box trucks, vans, or similar vehicles. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds. Previous experience in delivery driving, moving, or warehouse operations is advantageous. Must be detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately.
