Handler/Shuttle Dr/DOT-2 Position Available In Montgomery, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Provides movement of packages in a safe and efficient manner; tooperate mechanized ramp equipment to load and unload packages; toperform shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle. Performsother duties as assigned. Minimum Education None Minimum ExperienceNone Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Able to lift 50 lbs. withoutassistance from the ground to chest level and to maneuver packagesof any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/orassistance from another person. Able to walk and stand fordesignated work hours. Able to bend and squat for designated workhours. Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level. Ability tomaneuver packages in enclosed spaces and stack packages above one’shead if required at location. Able to work in all weatherconditions if required at work location. Able to climb stairs andladders if required at work location. Ability to work with powerand hand tools. Able to successfully complete all basic andre-currency training. The ability to communicate both timely andeffectively, in a noisy operations environment, is required. JobConditions Non-covered safety sensitive position. Ability to workin a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Medical examrequired in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations. Must meetqualifications as outlined in Section 391 of the Federal MotorCarrier Safety Regulations.
