This position involves driving a designated route, managing deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the mail while navigating various terrains and weather conditions. Responsibilities Drive assigned routes to deliver mail and packages to rural customers. Load and unload mail from vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to deliveries. Perform route driving duties efficiently while adhering to safety regulations. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including sorting and organizing mail. Engage in heavy lifting and moving of packages as required during delivery processes. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure operational safety. Experience Previous experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential. Knowledge of operating a forklift is an advantage but not mandatory.
