Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Welcome patients and visitors by greeting patients or visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Collect and record patient and insurance information accurately and discreetly Collect copays and outstanding items Monitor patients in the waiting room and answer patient questions Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider or nurse of patient’s arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays Check patients out making appointments and receiving payments as needed Comply with all governmental rules and regulations Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
Skills:
Knowledge of AllScripts is a plus 2+ years experience as a medical receptionist is a plus
