Southern Spine and Sport is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our clinic. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth and efficient front office operation and an excellent patient experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and multitasking skills, along with a passion for helping others in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients with warmth and professionalism upon arrival Check patients in and out using our electronic medical record (EMR) system Answer and direct phone calls; respond to voicemails and emails promptly Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Maintain and update patient charts and records accurately Create new patient profiles, ensuring all intake forms are complete and properly filed Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays/payments at time of service Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area Communicate effectively with therapists and other staff regarding scheduling or patient concerns Handle administrative tasks such as scanning, faxing, filing, and data entry
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) 1+ years experience in a medical or customer service setting (preferred) Knowledge of EMR systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Professional appearance and demeanor
Working Hours:
Monday•Friday 8 AM•5
PM Benefits:
Competitive pay ($10•14/hour depending on experience) Paid time off
