Job Description

Receptionist 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Cullman, AL 35055 Diversified Sourcing Solutions seeks a highly organized, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact at one of our elite warehouse distribution clients’ facilities. This role is essential in ensuring efficient front-desk operations, supporting internal communication, and delivering a seamless experience for all visitors, vendors, and staff. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist all visitors, delivery drivers, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Maintain visitor records and manage access control, including issuing badges and ensuring adherence to site protocols
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services efficiently
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls; respond to inquiries with accuracy and discretion
  • Act as a liaison between warehouse staff and other departments to ensure timely communication and operational alignment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area at all times
  • Perform administrative support tasks including data entry, document filing, appointment scheduling, and report preparation
  • Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures related to front desk and visitor management Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training or certifications preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or front-desk role (experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with warehouse management or scheduling systems is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times
