We have been trusted by our clients for over a decade with the care of their pets. This position is at our Vestavia Hills location. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, computer literacy, and a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment. This isn’t your average front desk job! If you enjoy staying active, working with animals, have a can-do attitude and great customer service skills, this is a Great fit for you. Responsibilities Greet and assist clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Manage incoming phone calls. Checking dogs in and out. Schedule boarding and daycare reservations, grooming appointments. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area. Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally, providing information about services offered. Cleaning cat condos and dog kennels. Feeding/medicating dogs and cats. Requirements Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficient in computer literacy, including familiarity with office software applications. Excellent phone etiquette and experience with phone systems is essential. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
