We are a dedicated team of DOL doctors and OWCP claims experts providing top-quality medical care and claims assistance to injured federal workers through the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP) and FECA. Our clinic is located in a safe, convenient area and is committed to delivering compassionate, effective care while helping our patients navigate complex claims processes.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic, organized, and professional Front Office Assistant to be the face and heartbeat of our clinic operations. As the first point of contact for patients and stakeholders, your role is key in ensuring smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check-in patients with a warm and welcoming attitude Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage front desk communications Maintain and update patient records accurately Ensure all paperwork is completed, filed, and submitted per compliance guidelines Assist with Medicare documentation, billing, and coding practices Maintain a clean, professional, and organized front office environment Support clinicians and therapy staff by coordinating schedules and follow-ups Participate in identifying and improving front office processes

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Outgoing, personable, and confident with strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication and active listening skills Professional appearance and demeanor Strong organizational and planning skills Must be punctual and reliable Proficient in Excel Minimum typing speed of 50+ WPM Experience using a 10-key calculator Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks Reliable transportation required Prior experience in a healthcare or administrative setting is helpful but not required
