We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and experiencedVeterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team at HuntsvilleAnimal Clinic. The ideal candidate will have a proven track recordin a veterinary or animal care setting and excel at providingoutstanding client service. As the first point of contact for ourclients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positiveexperience for both pets and their owners.

KeyResponsibilities:
- Greet clients and patients warmly, providinga friendly and professional first impression
- Answer multi-linephones, schedule appointments, and manage the daily appointmentcalendar
- Accurately enter and update client and patient recordsin the practice management system
- Handle client check-in andcheck-out, including invoicing and payment processing
- Communicateclearly with clients regarding appointment reminders, follow-upcare, and general inquiries
- Liaise between clients and veterinarystaff to relay messages and ensure smooth workflow
- Maintaincleanliness and organization of the reception area and clientwaiting room
- Manage prescription refills and coordinate withveterinarians for approvals
- Assist with inventory management,including ordering and stocking front desk supplies
- Handlesensitive situations with empathy and discretion, especially incases of emergencies or euthanasia
- Follow all clinic protocolsand confidentiality guidelines

Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-3years of experience as a receptionist in a veterinary practice orsimilar animal care environment
- Strong customer service andcommunication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient inveterinary practice management software (e.g., AVImark,Cornerstone, eVetPractice)
- Ability to multitask and remain calmunder pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented andhighly organized
- Compassion for animals and their owners
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends ifrequired
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additionaltraining or certification in veterinary reception or officeadministration is a plus
