Job Description

Receptionist Slick Career Mobile, AL 36605 Global oilfield services company is seeking to immediately hire Receptionist. The Receptionist is responsible for meeting and greeting visitors and customers at Reception, and directing them to their appointment or meeting place. The Receptionist presents the corporate face of the company to the public and employees, and helps create the first impression that each visitor receives.

Position type:

Contract-to-hire. Conversion to permanent employee is possible after 3-4 month initial period, depending on worker performance.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00

PM Responsibilities:

Handle complex and confidential secretarial and administrative assignments. Perform secretarial duties as required, including: Type and proofread formal letters, interoffice correspondence and miscellaneous documents; compose correspondence and responses to inquiries independently. Answer telephone and handle requests for information at an advanced level. Oversees visitor log and provides overall support to visitors. Point of contact and manage the entrance Gate Set up and maintain department records and files. Arrange travel schedules and reservations. Supervise and train others. Monitor accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all critical business systems transactions. Coordinate meetings and office communications. Schedule conference rooms, audio/visual equipment and other materials as requested.

Requirements:

Expert in software applications, including advanced program functions in Excel and Word 6+ years of experience in similar organizations, Must live within driving distance of the Mobile AL area Must have an active driver license in good standing This company has a very comprehensive drug testing requirement. Failure to pass the drug tests will result in the job offer being cancelled, and you will never be able to work for this company in the future.
