Hourly Job Summary:

Receptionists are responsible for greeting, instructing, and directing patients, visitors, and family members Job Duties /

Responsibilities:

Primary Patient Check in for Infusion Suite and Check out Instruct/remind patients of current day’s schedule and all follow up appointments Answers telephone, takes messages, and provides information in accordance with established procedures Corresponds to emails, phone calls, and IM messages Monitor and record infusion wait times. Routinely address patients/family members questions and concerns regarding medical procedures and policies Communicate with Infusion Coordinator as needed Complete Sympathy Cards for patients Assist Emergency transport and process Ability to handle heavy phone volume and group messaging Attend required staff meetings Required Skiles /

Abilities:

Multi-tasker, detail-oriented, posses strong customer service with the ability to keep up a fast=paced environment, extremely flexible Strong computer, problem solving, and organization skills Ability to work within a team environment Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and telephone skills Ability to handle heavy phone volume and group messaging Certifications/Licenses/Education/or Experience in a related field: High School Diploma or equivalent Highlands offers a full benefits suite that includes those listed below and many more!
