Gastroenterology Receptionist/Secretary (2yr EPIC required) Digestive Disease Associates LLC 687 West Main Street, Branford, CT 06405 EPIC (electronic health records) experience required Duties include answering phones, checking in and checking out patients, entering and verifying insurances, collecting co-pays, scheduling appointments and imaging tests, obtaining authorizations and sending out medical records. Must be able to travel to Milford, Branford, and Westbrook offices, as required. Based on a 40 hour a week employee PTO is adjusted based on how many days/hours staff regularly works. Covering or working extra does not award extra PTO. Currently, for established staff, PTO is awarded January 1st. You can carry-over up to 24hrs into the next calendar year.

AFTER 90 DAY PROBATION

•employee gets 8 days

AT 6 MONTHS

•employee gets an additional 5 days

AT 1 YEAR

•employee gets an additional 5 days (in the first year, they will receive a total of 18 days or 144 hours)

AFTER 2 YEARS

•employee gets an additional 3 days (in the 3rd year, will receive a total of 21 days or 168 hours)

AFTER 4 YEARS

•employee gets an additional 2 days (in the 5th year, will receive a total of 23 days or 184 hours)

AFTER 10 YEARS

•employee gets an additional 5 days (in the 11th year, will receive a total of 28 days or 224 hours)

PAID HOLIDAYS

After your 90 day probationary period has ended, you are eligible for the following New Year’s Day (January 1) Memorial Day Independence Day (July 4) Labor Day Thanksgiving Day and the day after Christmas Day BONUSES Performance Bonuses given yearly in June/July, based on the employee’s performance. Christmas Bonuses given in December, for being a part of the Digestive Disease Associates Team. After your 90 day probationary period has ended, you are eligible for the following: 401K through Betterment Contribution from the employer is 3% every pay cycle, whether you choose to participate or not. Contribution from the employer is 1% of salary annually.
