Our front desk Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for our patients and clients, we are constantly looking for individuals who share our passion to help people and possess the desire to try to do things better and more efficiently. Front Desk Receptionists are expected to provide a stellar patient experience while maintaining reception and clerical support.

Responsibilities:

Greeting patients warmly both over the phone and in face-to-face encounters Provide a superior patient experience as a positive ambassador in support of Performances patient-centric model of health care Address and resolve any problems that a patient may have to the best of one’s abilities Escalates unresolved problems to manager Expresses compassion, understanding, and empathy at all times Reviews and updates patient demographics and insurance information and accurately scans documents into patients file Obtains and processes referral information and notes patients records accordingly Collects co-pays and fees for service Answer phones Insurance verification and authorizations Schedules PT appointments Obtains and properly distributes messages Performs general office duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous customer service or electronic medical records experience Previous front desk experience Open availability including Saturdays Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to multi-task while working quickly, efficiently, and accurately To cover other clinics when needed
