As the Legal Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing essential administrative and customer service support. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and helping maintain an organized and efficient office environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and assist wherever needed. A college background and prior experience in a law office are preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Interaction:
Greet clients and visitors professionally, determine the reason for their visit, and direct them appropriately.
Communication:
Answer and route phone calls, handle emails, and take messages accurately.
Scheduling:
Schedule appointments, meetings, and consultations for attorneys and staff.
Document Management:
Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and preparing legal documents.
Office Organization:
Maintain a clean and organized reception area, manage office supplies, and ensure smooth office operations.
General Administrative Tasks:
May include basic data entry, invoicing, and research, depending on the firm’s size and needs.
SKILLS & QUALITIES
Professionalism:
Maintain a positive and courteous attitude and appearance when interacting with clients and staff.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for answering calls, taking messages, and communicating with clients.
