JOB OVERVIEW

The MRI Receptionist is responsible for basic clerical tasks such as answering phones, greeting patients and visitors, scheduling appointments in a professional and timely manner, and pre-certifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Clinic Duties Answer clinic phone calls Schedule MRI and order labs Prescreen patients Obtain pre certification and benefits Collection of copay Posting clinic charges Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSE

None

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

1-2 years of medical office experience preferred

SKILLS:

Excellent customer service skills. Comfortable working in fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient with computer skills including experience with practice management software desired.
