Veterinary Receptionist Robertson Mobile Vet 500 NW 60th Street, Gainesville, FL 32607 Robertson Mobile Vet is seeking an individual that is passionate about providing exceptional customer service to our veterinary clientele. We are a small animal practice that is looking for someone who is proficient in their communication skills as well as a team player. As a veterinary receptionist, we are looking for someone that can fulfill the following duties:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls and emails; schedule appointments over the phone and online; and manage the appointment calendar appropriately
- Check-in and check-out clients, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely payment processing
- Provide information and answer questions about veterinary services, procedures, and pricing
- Assist with marketing and social media interfaces with clients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
- Coordinate with veterinary technicians and veterinarians to ensure smooth patient flow
- Handle client inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner
- Assist with basic animal care tasks such as feeding, walking, and administering medications We are looking for a team member that has experience within the veterinary field, including but not limited to:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is required
- Knowledge of animal husbandry practices
- Familiarity with pet care procedures such as grooming, bathing, and nail trimming
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and sample collection techniques
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology to effectively communicate with clients and staff
- Knowledge of veterinary critical care procedures is an asset We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
