JOB SUMMARY

The Receptionist at Polaris Pharmacy Services is responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. The Receptionist will manage front desk operations, including handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records, to support the efficient functioning of the pharmacy services.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor. Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel or departments. Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to front desk activities. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence. Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times. Handle inquiries and provide information about pharmacy services. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction. Support pharmacy staff with additional tasks as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance. Strong customer service skills with a patient and friendly attitude. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines. Capability to work independently and as part of a team. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role. Experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

HOLIDAY & PTO POLICY

Paid holidays are provided annually, with 6 days offered each year, along with 5 sick days. Employees earn up to 10 PTO days each year, with rollover options and milestone bonuses. Employees have the option to cash out up to 10 PTO hours each quarter for added financial flexibility. Please note, because we are a pharmacy most of our locations are open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and therefore schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
